New Zombie cub invade WU
Club focuses on awareness of zombies, survival methods

Zombie lovers are beginning to take over Webster University with a new student organization. A new on-campus club, Zombie Awareness and Survival (ZAS), allows students to discuss and learn the rules of surviving a zombie apocalypse. "There's such a zombie interest at Webster," said Makayla Lynn, a senior media communications major and ZAS president.

During a recent research trip to New Delhi, India, Asma Kazmi, a Pakistani performance artist and sculptor, documented a series of contraptions and devices used by beggars and handicapped people to walk and move for themselves. "Prosthetics," Kazmi's art project documented through photographs and videos, was inspired by phenomenology, the study of reality as perceived from the first person's point of view.

Designer Vivek Nagrani shares story of success

Unlike many designers who spend most of their time focusing on basic clothing, designer Vivek Nagrani focuses on details. He believes fine dressing begins when one starts paying attention to specific clothing aspects before seeing the attire as a whole. Nagrani was invited by the Webster University School of Business and Technology to be part of the 2009-2010 Success to Significance Speaker Series.
