Students work the cat walk at Red Hot Fashion Show with New York theme

For the sixth consecutive year, Webster University students were able to strut their stuff on the runway. The Red Hot Fashion Show on Feb. 18 showcased 15 WU students in clothes from the ScholarShop - a resale shop located in Webster Groves. The show's theme, "A Night In New York," reflected the events of New York's fashion week which took place Feb.

WU holds watch party for professor's premiere on TLC

Webster University hosted a "What Not to Wear" watch party Friday, Feb. 19 for the premiere of the episode featuring Gina Jensen, the assistant director of forensics and debate and adjunct professor. About 80 friends, family members and WU staff, faculty and students gathered in the Sunnen Lounge for the debut of the hour-long episode of the TLC hit show.

Conservatory's "Razzle" opens at WU

The audience is right in the performers' pockets in the Conservatory performance of "On The Razzle" in the Emerson Studio Theatre. The fast-paced farce, which is playing from Feb. 17 to Feb. 21 and Feb. 24 to Feb. 28, takes place in 1890s Vienna. Two clerks, Weinberl (played by senior Matthew Folsom) and his apprentice, Christopher (played by junior Greg Fink) go "on the razzle.

Global Forum poster exhibit reflects 1945 bombing on Hiroshima

Webster University's Emerson Library computer lab has 30 posters plastered on its walls depicting disturbing photos, statistics, graphs and drawings reflecting the atomic bomb drop on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in Japan in 1945. The posters are on display until March 26 and are in the first exhibit of a series of nuclear weapon-related events as a part of "Global Forum: The Future of Nuclear Weapons.

Former president of Webster College recognizes struggles, achievements
