Stuck in St. Louis for spring break? Before you can utter those four little words, "There's nothing to do," The Journal has composed a sampling of things to see and do that won't leave you battling boredom over the break. So, if you're a sucker for science, adore animals or appreciate art, St. Louis has the answers to your spring break qualms.
Anheuser Busch Brewery
12th and Lynch Streets
Ever wonder how beer is made? Find out by taking a tour at the Anheuser Busch Brewery. All tours conclude with free beer (or soda if you're under 21). Make friends with the famous Budweiser Clydesdales on Clydesdale Camera Day March 18. Be sure to bring your own camera so you can take the memories with you.

City Museum

Feel like a kid again at the City Museum. Get lost in the Enchanted Caves, monkey around in MonstroCity or take the plunge at the World Aquarium. The museum provides hours of entertainment.

The park is also home to the Jewel Box, World's Fair Pavilion, Steinberg Skating Rink, St. Louis Zoo, St. Louis Art Museum, Missouri Historical Society, Boathouse, Muny and more. With so much to see and do, there's something for everyone. If you're not into the hype, pack a picnic and relax in the shade.

International Bowling Hall of Fame

Put on your bowling shoes and get ready to make a strike at the International Bowling Hall of Fame. Admire crazy bowling team shirts throughout history, a bowling pin car and learn more about bowling than you ever imagined. But don't stop at bowling - check out the second and third floors of the building for a museum store and Cardinals Hall of Fame.

Start the day off early with a five-mile run through downtown St. Louis at the St. Patrick's Day Parade Run March 11, which begins at 9:30 a.m. Stay in the downtown area for the 37th annual St. Patrick's Day Parade, which kicks off at noon. Deck yourself in green and head to Broadway and Market Street to catch the start of the parade. The parade concludes at 20th Street. Visit the Irish Village at Kiener Plaza for Irish food, drinks and memorabilia.

Wild Canid Survival and Research Center

Don't worry; big, bad wolves won't get you here. The Wild Canid Survival and Research Center in Eureka, or wolf sanctuary, is home to several different species of wolves, including the Mexican gray, maned, red, Iranian gray, African wild dogs and swift fox.
Cost: Free for those under three, $9 for an interactive lecture and one-hour guided walking tour (a two-hour program) at 10 a.m. on Saturdays, $7 for a guided walking tour (1 to 2 p.m.)
