It's that time of year again. Time to put away the books for a week, a breather after cramming for midterms. It's fall break.
"We've had a fall break for as long as I can remember," said Ted Hoef, associate vice president and dean of students for Webster University.
Hoef said fall break is a way to separate the two fall terms: fall one and fall two.
When it comes to how students are going to spend their fall breaks, they had different things to say.
While most students said they were going to catch up on sleep, a few have other things planned.
"I'll be taking some time away from my studies to go visit my brother at Mizzou," said Andrew Kremer, a junior audio production major.
Kremer thinks fall break is a good idea because it gives him a chance to regroup for the second half of the semester.
Freshman Claire Beaudoin, a biology major, also has things planned for fall break.
"My birthday falls during fall break so I'll do something for that," Beaudoin said.
Beaudoin also plans to go camping sometime during the week.
