Fall registration


Registration for the Fall 2007 semester begins April 2 for undergraduate seniors, or any student with more than 90 credits. Undergraduate juniors, students with 60 credits or more, will be able to register April 3. All undergraduates will be able to register April 4. Students must get their adviser's approval before they are eligible to register. The Registrar's Office will be open at 8 a.m. and Academic Advising will open at 8:30 a.m. from April 2 through April 4. Graduate registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. April 9.


Gas leak


On March 19, construction workers struck a gas pipe and caused two seperate gas leaks while digging along Garden Avenue to install new lights. The first leak occured at approximately 11 a.m. outside the Community Music School on Garden Avenue. The second leak occurred approximately at 3:45 p.m near the Loretto-Hilton Center. WGFD and Laclede Gas responded to the leak. Both the CMS building and the Loretto-Hilton Center were evacuated even though WGFD firefighters did not smell gas in the buildings.


"We just wanted to be safe," WGFD Battalion Chief Dale Jones said. "We really didn't smell anything inside, but we just wanted to be careful."
