SGA elections
Voting for Student Government Association candidates is underway. Students can vote online at http://www.webster.edu/sga through 11:59 p.m. April 19. All students taking classes at the Webster Groves campus or students studying abroad whose home campus is Webster Groves are eligible to vote.
Argentinian writer
Argentinian author Ana Maria Shua will give a presentation at 4:30 p.m. April 24 in the University Center Sunnen Lounge. The presentation is titled "Latin American, Jewish, Woman and Writer, in that Order or Any Other."
Earth Day festival
The 18th Annual Earth Day Festival will be held from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. April 22 on The Muny grounds in Forest Park. The event will feature a parade, speeches by Russ Carnahan (D-St. Louis) and Mayor Francis Slay, environmentally friendly vendors, art and a electronic recycling collection. A panel of speakers, including Ward 6 Alderman Lewis Reed, City of St. Louis comptroller Darlene Green, Former Director of Missouri Department of Economic Development Kelvin Simmons and City of St. Louis License Collector Michael McMillan will discuss African-Americans in politics from 4 to 5:30 p.m. April 23 in the Emerson Library Conference Room.
