- The Webster University Film Series presents Timothy and Stephen Quay's "The Piano Tuner of Earthquakes" at 7 p.m. in the Winifred Moore Auditorium. The film is followed by the 13-film retrospective of shorts, "The Fantastical Worlds of The Brothers Quay."

- Guitarist Gregg Haynes performs at 7:30 p.m. in The Vaughn Cultural Center inside the Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis, located at 3701 Grandel Square. Admission is free, but seating is limited. For more information, call 615-3624.


Saturday, April 28

- The Opera Studio presents "Spring Scenes" at 7 p.m. in the Music Annex, located at 8282 Big Bend Blvd. Admission is free and open to the public. For more information, call ext. 7128.

- The Webster University Choral Society with the Belleville Philharmonic Orchestra and Chorale presents Beethoven's "Ninth Symphony" at 7:30 p.m. at St. Paul's United Church of Christ, located at 115 West B St. Admission is $12 for adults, $10 for seniors and $5 for students. - The Conservatory of Theatre Arts presents "No No Nanette" at 8 p.m. in the Browning Theatre of the Loretto-Hilton Center. Admission is free to faculty, staff and students with a valid Webster ID and $10 for general admission. For more information, call ext. 7128.
