Sept. 23: A purse was taken from an unattended shopping cart at the 8500 block of Watson Road.
Sept. 26: A burglary was reported where entry was gained through an open window of a community service building at the 300 block of S. Gore Avenue.
Sept. 26: A burglary and automobile theft were reported at the 300 block of N. Gore Avenue. The suspect gained entry to the residence and took car keys from a kitchen table. He then took the victim's vehicle. The suspect has been identified and arrested, and the vehicle has been recovered.
Sept. 27: A purse was taken from a student while she was in class at the 400 block of E. Lockwood Avenue.
Sept. 29: An unidentified male suspect stole three cartons of cigarettes from a business at the 7700 block of Big Bend Boulevard.
